A large rear extension was added to this property including a tv room, porch and double garage. The previous kitchen was quite small and dark, so the architects brief was for as much light as possible whilst creating a large family space.  

 

The show piece of the project are the large sliding doors and roof lanterns which draws light from every angle, with great views of the garden. The porch to the front of the house was bespoke using oak timbers with windows to the side, once again creating lots of light whilst adding more room to the entrance. Overall the new works added contrast to the existing building giving it a contemporary edge, using modern materials.
